Cataloging a Vinyl Record
Cataloging An Album: Our cataloging form is pretty straight forward, so you can start cataloging your vinyl record collection right away. The only required fields are Genre, Band/Artist, and Album Title. For a tutorial on cataloging your record collection, visit the Getting Started: Cataloging page. In addition, please visit our Style Guide to review some cataloging guidelines and best practices.
Album Cover Images: We do not have access to album cover metadata from sources like iTunes or Amazon, so you'll have to grab the album cover image from the Internets, but we recommend taking a photo of your actual album and uploading it. This site supports the following formats: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
Data Import: Do you have information about your vinyl records in a spreadsheet or text file? We're currently working on a data import function so you can build your digital record bin with just a few clicks! More to come soon.
